Alexander Wang will have a large pop-up space in Miami from now until January.
The building, which is located in the Miami Design District, has a red exterior and a traditional Chinese hip-and-gable roof. Inside, various campaign stars are displayed on a silver crystal bed, which keeps shoppers’ attention on the red color.
Wang said in a statement that the launch of the space was “especially exciting” because it happened during Art Basel coverage.
“This open door in Miami was particularly thrilling realizing that it would correspond with Craftsmanship Basel and playing with an idea that pushes the limits locally that is known for development and workmanship,” the fashioner said, adding that it was his aim to send off “a discussion around culture conflict” in an especially unique region.
