Helly Hansen’s HH-118389225 Hones

The Fall/Winter 2022 collection from Helly Hansen and its heritage-focused line, HH-118389225, has been unveiled. The new line, which goes by the name “222,” continues to draw inspiration from the extensive history of the label’s production of gear for professional and performance use. It includes new multipurpose pieces as well as key silhouettes that have been used before.

This season, the label introduces 3-layer shell technology, ultrasonic taped seams, reinforced webbing load eyelets, and the brand’s modular, interchangeable ARC Storm Hood, which docks with multiple key styles. Building on the blueprints of its inaugural 212 winter collection, the label also introduces ultrasonic taped seams.

The ARC reversible vest, which further promotes the brand’s focus on layering and serves as the ideal underlayer for Helly Hansen’s shell program, as well as the classic reversible puffer jackets, which are available in both “Utility Green” and “Core Black,” are two other standout items. The new ARC 3L Shell Pant adds a wider, snowboard-inspired cargo silhouette to the collection. It also has an adjustable ankle fastening and is made of waterproof HELLYTECH® fabric.

According to artistic director Graeme Gaughan, “people have preconceived ideas of what they imagine the coldest places in the world to look like” when it comes to winter. However, deserts like the Atacama Desert in Chile can have temperatures below zero without snow. We wanted to change people’s perceptions of cold environments by contrasting them with the 222 collection in the campaign. We really let the tones of the collection shine through by bringing attention to these abstract geographical textures and natural inspirations.”

Starting in November 2022, the Helly Hansen HH-118389225-222 collection will be available in limited quantities at a few top-tier stockists around the world.
